Day 1 – Fly to Cairo
Flight from Toronto to Cairo.
Day 2 – Arrival
Transfer to the hotel by our representative. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3 – Great Pyramids / Memphis / Sakkara
Visit the Pyramids of Giza – Sphinx and the Temple of the Valley. Stop at the Step Pyramid of Zoser and Tombs of Sakkara. Overnight in hotel in Cairo. (B,L)
Day 4 – Egyptian Museum /Old Cairo
Visit the Egyptian Museum & Tutankhamen exhibition. Stop at the Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque. Overnight in Cairo. (B,L)
Day 5 – Luxor / Nile Cruise
Morning flight to Luxor. Transfer to the cruise ship for embarkation of the Nile cruise. Explore the Valley of the Kings, the Necropolis of Thebes, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. Overnight in Luxor. (B,L,D)
Day 6- Esna / Nile Cruise
Free time available in the morning for any optional tours. In the afternoon, sail down the Nile to Esna. Overnight on board (B,L,D)
Day 7 – Kom Ombo / Aswan / Nile Cruise
Sail to Kom Ombo and enjoy tranquility along the Nile banks.Visit the temple shared by the two mythological gods Sobek & Haroeris. Sail to Aswan and spend overnight on board.
Day 8 – Aswan / Nile Cruise
Go on an optional excursion to Abu Simbel or enjoy free leisure time. Overnight on board.
Day 9 – Aswan / Nile Cruise
Visit the Aswan High Dam and the unfinished obelisk as well as the magnificent Temple of Philae. In the afternoon, view the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Islands by “Felucca”, a traditional Nile sailing boat. Overnight in Aswan. (B,L,D)
Day 10- Edfu / Luxor / Nile Cruise
Early sailing to Edfu. Visit the temple of Horus in Edfu, return to ship, sail to Esna, cross the lock, then sail to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)
Day 11 – Luxor / Nile Cruise
Visit the beautiful Temple of Luxor and the immense Karnak Temple. Overnight in Luxor. (B,L,D)
Day 12 – Luxor / Cairo
After breakfast, disembark the cruise ship and take flight back to Cairo. Free leisure time for the rest of the day. Optional visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the Church of Abu Serga or Moallaqa Church (Hanging Church). Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 13 – Departure
Early transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home. (B)
