9 Days / 8 Nights TOTAL, 4 Nights Cairo + 4 Nights Cruise
Day 1 – Arrival
Meet & greet at Cairo airport. Assisted transfer by our representative will take you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 – Old Cairo
Visit Egyptian museum & Tutanakhamen exhibition. Stop at the Citadel, the Alabaster and Sultan Hassan Mosque. Continue to visit the Church of Abu Serga, Moallaqa Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Overnight in Cairo. (B,L)
Day 3 – Great Pyramids / Memphis / Sakkara
Visit the Pyramids of Giza – Sphinx and the Temple of the Valley. Visit the ancient capital of Egypt, Memphis – Step Pyramid of Zoser and Tombs of Sakkara. An evening transfer to Cairo railway station as you leave aboard the first class sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner and overnight aboard the train. (B,D)
Note: An optional program overnight in hotel in Cairo and morning flight to Luxor.
Day 4 – Luxor / Nile Cruise
Arrival at Luxor and transfer to your cruise for embarkation. Afternoon sightseeing:
Visit the beautiful Temple of Luxor and the immense Karnak temple. Dinner and overnight aboard the cruise ship in Luxor. (B,L,D)
Day 5 – Valley of the Kings / Esna / Nile Cruise
Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, Sailing will take you to Esna, cross the lock and then to Edfu. Tonight you enjoy Galabea party with Egyptian costumes. (B,L,D)
Day 6 – Edfu / Kom Ombo / Nile Cruise Morning visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Proceed to Kom Ombo for a visit to the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Evening you continue along the Nile for Aswan. (B,L,D)
Day 7 – Aswan / Nile Cruise
Morning Visit the Aswan High Dam, and the Temple of Philae. Afternoon sail on a “Felucca” sailboat and view the Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. (B,L,D)
Day 8 – Aswan / Cairo
After breakfast you disembark your Nile Cruise ship in Aswan and fly back to Cairo.
Optional: Abu Simbel Visit by Air with bus arrangement and return to Cairo.
Rest of the day at leisure or optional visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the Church of Abu Serga or Moallaqa Church (Hanging Church). Overnight in Cairo. (B,L)
Day 9 – Departure
Early transfer to Cairo International Airport to fly back home Breakfast at your hotel will be followed by an assisted transfer to the airport. (B)
